Nasal surgery is performed to correct the size, shape and appearance of the bridge,
dome or tip of the nose.
This procedure is done to correct and readjust the supporting bones and cartilage,
either by reducing or building up these structures to reshape the nose. In some cases,
the septum may be
corrected, and cartilage grafts may be placed to enlarge the airway to improve breathing.
Surgical incisions along the lining inside the nose are made. In additions, a
small incision may be added along the surface of the skin, under the nose between the
nostrils, to reshape the tip of the nose.
Dr. Moloney will discuss the available procedures and advise you which is the best
procedure for your particular needs, taking into consideration your basic bone structure.
